Here are some terrific articles that are must reads when dealing with the digital native and understanding their technologies:

Sharon’s article is a great one.  It suggests that perhaps a digital immigrant can possess something else other than digital experiences:  digital wisdom.  It also breaks down some of the digital native stereotypes found in popular media.

This is an interesting and extensive list of acronyms from shorthand and text messaging language.  It is very detailed.  A warning, some of the language is offensive.

Here is a list of apps that are the most popular according to the apple website.  It is constantly updated so it is always current.  It is a good website to check to see what is new amongst digital natives.
